Since she already won PA, she doesn’t need to win over Penguins fans, so will she say she wants the Red Wings to win the Cup in order to seem like a regular person?
Especially since Michigan has that problem with its delegates not being seated, and the fact that the Penguins beat her New York Rangers, will Hill play on people’s emotions about their hockey team in order to gain their votes in the general election?

I just went to get my skates sharpened this morning and while I was browsing I discovered… OMG they have NHL Christmas tree skirts. That is like AWESOME. Plus they have NHL stockings and santa hats. For some reason they had Christmas stuff of the Red Wings, Sabres and every Canadian team EXCEPT for the Canucks… weird. I think I am going to buy a Sens stocking for my dog… he will tear it to pieces by Christmas morning. Muahahahaha.
So anyways…. I was just thinking, how does everyone else incorporate hockey into their Christmas? The only thing I can think of is this really old TML Christmas tree ornament that came with a Blue Jays ornament in a set of two. Plus we usually have a pond hockey game on Christmas Eve. But we can’t this year… damn. That’s it really. I’m thinking I should hockeycize my Christmas. It’s in the winter. How hard can it be? I need ideas people.

I see people ask all the time what is the best hockey town. It appears that most answer based on the success of an NHL team. I find this puzzling. Isn’t hockey more than just the NHL? Also, does the success of a hodge podge of players from around the world moving to a city and winning indicate the dominance of that town in the sport?

To me the best “hockey” city is Saint Paul, Minnesota. They’ve sold out every pre-season, regular season, and play off game for the NHL’s Wild. Also, they sell out their college hockey tournament every year. And the largest crowd to every see a game in the city was over 19,000 for a high school state tournament game between Hill Murray and Roseau. Also, most of the cities residents play the game.

The best NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings. Why? They won the cup, they are the Champions. Congrats to the Swedes relocated to Detroit.

The best NHL town is probably Toronto or Montreal.
Great histories and fans of both teams.

The game is on January 28… I tired ticketmaster and they were sold out so … i went to www.gotickets.com [ which is kind of like an ebay for tickets exept it doesnt have bids ] and the prices were pretty high … what i want to know is will the prices go down the closer it gets to game day ? or will they get higher?

i really dont feel like spending 300 dollars to get okays seats.

if anyone knows a good site to go to that would help a lot!
