NHL to fine Detroit Ice manager for swinging Octopi?

Gary Bettman and the NHL are going to fine Joe Louis Arena Ice manager Al Sobatka for swinging the octopus above his head after he cleans them up off from the ice during a Detroit Red Wings playoff hockey game.
The NHL is saying this is ‘inciting the fans’. and are going to fine him each time he does this.

I say, if the NHL is going to fine Mr. Sobatka for doing hhttp://www.petitiononline.com/octopus8/petition.html is job, I say let the octopi lay and let the players skate around them.
