How does Ovechkin get away with it?

Just because he is a great player, doesn’t mean he should be allowed to play that dirty. I watched the highlights last night. This guy is going to seriously injure someone. It makes no sense. He’s got so much talent. Why play that type of goon hockey. I am shocked he doesn’t get more major penalties. Maybe he belongs on the Red Wings with that kind of dirty play.
