What is the black bird with orange wings? It was certainly not a red-winged blackbird?

Today, 21JUNE, out in the country, I saw a red-headed woodpecker. About 20 minutes lateer I saw a bird, very similar in size to the rhwp but it had bright orange feathers on its wings in a pattern akin to what the rhwp has as white feathers on its wings. i did not hear a call. it was truely jaw dropping to see.
